We hope to empower you with current research, personal stories, and inspired readings to help you approach parenting through a mindful awareness of how your connection to your children affects their present and future behaviors and emotional intelligence. When children are treated with kindness, respect and unconditional acceptance they have the freedom to grow in to healthy, compassionate and responsible adults.

  6. Shared! I've always wanted to learn gentle parenting.. Eventhough its very hard for me, i persevere and will persevere to raise children that will become good, caring and loving persons in the future...

    1. Forgot to add my reasoning. I think every parent could stand to learn more effective ways of parenting, myself included. Learning to really listen to your children's needs and meet them without throwing a tantrum yourself (yelling), is a tool all parents could use.

  11. Shared! I want to win because my boyfriend and I kind of fell into gentle parenting. Neither of us had very much experience with kids but we've been following our instincts and doing what we think is right. We don't have any friends who parent like we do and so don't have a large support network or people to ask questions. A book would be a great tool for us to help us be the parents we want to be.

  13. As parents, what do you guys do as positive reinforcement towards your children and what are your thoughts on punishment? I've seen that punishment weakens the probability of a response. Please get back to me. Thank you.
